The Window Seat

A window seat of a high-speed train in Japan on a spring evening, blurred town lights and a pink dusk sky past the glass, on the tray a cup of green tea and a plain grey game cartridge, two hands in dark suit cuffs holding an upright handheld console of light grey plastic with a rounded lower right corner, a dark grey frame around a small yellow-green screen with plain dark falling blocks, two thin magenta and dark blue lines above it, a black cross-shaped pad under the left thumb, two round magenta buttons under the right thumb, two slanted grey buttons and speaker slots below, every surface plain and unmarked.
