Immediately, Without Delay

Seen from straight above, a close view down onto the pale top of a press conference table in Berlin on a November evening, hot white floodlight from the left, filling most of the frame a single torn sheet of lined white paper, slightly yellowed, its right edge ragged, the paper out of focus, its handwriting only a faint grey blur of tiny scribbles, short red arrows in the margin and small red loops, the pen and the hand sharp, at the lower right a man's hand in a dark suit sleeve holding a ballpoint pen, at the upper edge the dark foam heads of two microphones and a glass of water.
