The Leaking Panels

A wide open hangar at a desert airfield in California on a December night, floodlight on pale concrete, a whole extremely long and flat jet aircraft of matt black titanium skin, its slim fuselage flowing into broad sharp edges along both sides and on into thin delta wings, a long pointed nose, halfway out on each wing a huge cylindrical engine pod with a sharp spike cone in its intake, two black tail fins on top of the pods leaning inward, a small pool of fuel under one pod, a mechanic in a grey coverall seen from directly behind on a ladder, every surface plain and unmarked.
