The Pilot on the Ground

Taken from a chase aircraft high over bare brown mountains on a bright autumn morning, the open sky and the mountains filling the whole frame edge to edge, a slender remotely piloted aircraft in level flight seen from the side and slightly below, a light grey fuselage with a large rounded bulge at the nose, long straight thin wings bare and clean underneath, carrying nothing, two tail fins in an inverted V pointing down below the tail, a small pusher propeller at the rear blurred into a disc, under the nose a grey sensor ball, every surface plain unmarked light grey, dust haze in the valleys.
